He currently serves as Managing Director of Strategy, Mission Growth, and Impact at Battelle Education, where he helps lead national efforts to strengthen connections between education, workforce readiness, durable skills, and the future of work.
PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
HUMBLE PRACTITIONER
I began my career as a high school social studies teacher in New Orleans. That experience and my time at the Louisiana Department of Education shaped my belief in the power of strong public systems and the potential of every learner.
STRATEGY & IMPLEMENTATION
Over the course of nearly two decades, I have partnered with state education agencies, national nonprofits, philanthropies, school systems, and cross-sector coalitions to help organizations navigate complex change and translate strategy into aligned action. As a senior consultant at Education First and through founding my own consultancy, my work has spanned across the U.S. in strategic planning, organizational alignment, executive facilitation, partnership development, operating model design, governance, and implementation strategy — with a particular focus on helping mission-driven organizations build coherence across teams, initiatives, and long-term priorities.

As Managing Director of Strategy, Mission Growth, and Impact at Battelle Education, I lead efforts to strengthen connections between K-12, postsecondary, and workforce, expand strategic partnerships, and build organizational coherence that advances mission and impact.
